The Domstad Blazers Ensemble was founded over 40 years ago by woodwind musicians from the Utrecht Student Orchestras and the Netherlands Student Orchestra. It has grown into a professionally functioning ensemble of dedicated amateur musicians. The conductor is Leon Bosch.
